First FNS x ICCS event on mobility for SME's successful!
On October 1, 2024, SME entrepreneurs and mobility experts gathered at the iconic Watertoren West in Groningen for the very first Future Network Services (FNS) x ICCS event. This event, specifically focused on mobility and innovation for SMEs in Northern Netherlands, provided a platform to explore the latest technological developments and opportunities in the mobility sector.
The program began with an inspiring presentation by Frans Hamstra from atnorth. He spoke about the impact of mobility on the region and explained how the province of Groningen contributes to fostering innovation in this field. Next, Pascal Heijnen from TNO took the attendees into the world of 6G technology, a central theme within the FNS program. He demonstrated how 6G offers promising solutions that can transform the mobility sector and create significant opportunities for SMEs in the region.
After the informative sessions, there was ample opportunity to network during a buffet and discuss the insights gained. The afternoon concluded with valuable conversations and new connections between entrepreneurs and experts.
In the coming period, more sessions are planned for SMEs, both at the field lab in Delft and in Groningen, to further explore the possibilities of mobility technology. This session was made possible in part by the MIT scheme from the top sector ICT.
