What products or services do you provide?

Topsector ICT is one of the ten Topsectors within the “Mission-Driven Top Sectors and Innovation Policy” of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. Topsectors and the policy were created to stimulate innovation within the Dutch economy. Topsector ICT focuses on both the ICT sector and ICT in other sectors.

Where are you active within the FNS program (program line, work packages) and what is your contribution to it?

In addition to membership on the FNS Supervisory Board, we as Topsector ICT make available various grant instruments to boost FNS where relevant, such as through the MIT grant for networking activities.

Why are you participating in the FNS program?

FNS is one our leading initiatives for the Topsector ICT, it is also one of the seven priorities of the KIA Digitalization (www.kia-digitalisering.nl), namely "Digital Connectivity Technologies”. Thus, Topsector ICT has provided impetus in recent years to produce an interim report on FNS as a prelude to the NGF proposal itself. FNS is an important NGF programm for the Netherlands in the development of 5G to 6G, partly in relation to digital autonomy.
