Geert-Jan Houben

Geert-Jan is pro vice rector magnificus (PVR) for AI, Data and Digitalisation and full professor of Web Information Systems at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Previously, he studied computing science, had several positions at consultancy firms in the Netherlands, held academic positions at TU Eindhoven, University of Antwerp, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. At TU Delft, as PVR for AI he leads the activities in the field of AI, data and digitalisation, for education, for research and valorisation, and for relevant support.
