Very successful National 6G Conference

On Tuesday, October 7th, Future Network Services (FNS) brought together partners, researchers, and policymakers at the National 6G Conference hosted at Delft University of Technology. This day marked a new step toward the 6G era, featuring inspiring keynotes, interactive breakout sessions, and exclusive demonstrations of 6G innovations.

In his keynote, Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi emphasized that 6G is likely to become one of the most important ecosystems of emerging technologies, defined by its ultra-fast, low-latency connectivity, massive capacity, and intelligent sensing capabilities” According to TNO’s CEO, 6G should be treated as emerging critical infrastructure, given its future role in powering essential societal and economic functions.

A key highlight was the official launch of the National 6G Testbed, an initiative within the FNS program (led by TNO). This testbed offers SMEs and startups a unique opportunity to develop and test their 6G applications, accelerating and democratizing innovation in the Netherlands.
