What products or services do you provide?

Digital Holland (formerly Topsector ICT) identifies, prioritises and organises ICT research and innovation by bringing together public and private parties with a focus on key digital technologies and societal challenges. Digital Holland covers the entire process from fundamental research to valorisation.

Training new talent, retraining and further training, knowledge dissemination, broad involvement of SMEs and international cooperation are an important part of its mission.

Where are you active within the FNS programme (programme line, work packages) and what is your contribution?

In addition to its membership of the FNS Supervisory Board, Digital Holland makes various subsidy instruments available to give FNS a boost where relevant, such as through the MIT subsidy network activities.

Why are you participating in the FNS programme?

FNS is one of Digital Holland's spearheads, as well as one of the seven priorities of the KIA Digitisation (www.kia-digitalisering.nl), namely “Digital Connectivity Technologies”. Digital Holland has, among other things, provided impetus for the production of a report on FNS as a prelude to the NGF proposal. FNS is an important NGF programme for the Netherlands in the development from 5G to 6G, partly in relation to digital autonomy.
