Niels Kramer

Niels is participating in Program Line 1 and is the chain owner of Non-terrestrial Networks (NTN)

Niels is a co-founder of Altum RF and has served as Managing Director since the company’s inception in 2018. With more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and the RF and microwave fields, he possesses broad expertise in process development, general management, product and project management, and strategic marketing.

Prior to his role at Altum RF, he worked at MACOM, among other companies, where, as Senior Director, he was responsible for the development of RF IC solutions for high-frequency applications. Before that, he held various technical and management positions at companies including Philips and NXP Semiconductors, including leadership roles in R&D and manufacturing environments.

Niels Kramer earned both his MSc and PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Twente.
