Minister Willemijn Aerdts visits FNS and the 6G Fieldlab Delft


On Monday 13 April, we welcomed the Minister for the Digital Economy and Sovereignty, Willemijn Aerdts, to the 6G Fieldlab Delft on the TU Delft Campus for an interactive working visit to the Future Network Services (FNS) Program.

During the visit, she was introduced to the FNS program, the associated ecosystem and our ambitions for 6G in the Netherlands and Europe. In an informal setting, we discussed policy, technology and entrepreneurship.

From vision to practice

During a tour of various demos, FNS partners demonstrated how 6G is already taking shape. AltumRF, ANTENNEX, Do IoT Fieldlab, The Vydar Group and SAM XL presented use cases that show how FNS contributes to the commercialisation of innovation.

Collaboration as the foundation of the 6G ecosystem

Collaboration was central to the working visit. Through joint development within the 6G ecosystem and the sharing of knowledge and networks, FNS partners strengthen one another. The importance of this collaboration for the further development and upscaling of 6G innovations was widely emphasised.
